Inbox

Select Inbox from the sidebar and you'll find a feed of what's been happening across your work — a place HiTradies flags things for you, rather than something you have to go digging for on the quotes, jobs and invoice lists yourself. Think of it as the running record of anything worth knowing about, without having to open every module in turn to check whether something's changed.

What lands in your inbox

HiTradies currently notifies you when:

• a job is assigned to you — so you know work's landed on your plate, even when you're the one who assigned it
• a job you're on is edited
• a client declines a quote you've sent them
• a client declines a proposal you've sent them
• an appointment or visit hasn't started yet — a reminder it's still to come
• an appointment or visit is assigned to someone on your team
• a job starting soon has nobody assigned to it — worth catching before the day arrives with no one booked in

One confirmed gap: recording a payment against an invoice doesn't notify you. That's not a sign that your own actions never notify you — assigning or editing a job does, even when you're the one doing it — just that payments specifically stay quiet.

This list covers what's confirmed today, not everything the Inbox will ever flag — more notifications get added here as they're confirmed.
