Share your booking form ​

Once your form is set up, put it where customers will find it.

There are two ways to get an active form in front of customers: a link to your hosted booking page, or the form embedded on your own website.

Share it as a link (hosted page) ​

HiTradies hosts a booking page for your business at its own web address. It shows your default booking form, with your logo and details.

Check these three things first:

  1. Set a business alias. The link is built from it, so add one in your Business settings. Until you do, there's no link to copy.
  2. Make sure the form is active. Only active forms can be shared.
  3. Make your services public. The service dropdown only lists services you've made public under Business Profile → Public Profile → Service & Products. Publish the ones you want customers to pick from.
  1. Go to Settings → Booking Forms.
  2. Find the form and select its ⋯ (More options) button.
  3. Select Copy page link.
  4. Paste the link anywhere you'd point a customer:
    • In your email signature
    • On your social media profiles
    • In a text when someone asks for a quote
    • On a business card or flyer, as a short link or QR code

Note — Public submissions are rate-limited to keep out spam. Real customers won't notice.

Embed it on your website ​

If you have your own website, you can embed a booking form in one of your pages. Customers then book without leaving your site.

  1. Go to Settings → Booking Forms.
  2. Find the form and select its ⋯ (More options) button.
  3. Select Copy embed code. This gives you a small script snippet.
  4. Give the snippet to your web person, or paste it into your website builder.

Once it's in place, the form appears as part of your site.

Which form shows where ​

  • The hosted page always shows your default form. To show a different one, go to the Booking Forms list and select ⋯ → Set as default. To share a specific non-default form's page, select ⋯ → Copy page link on that form.
  • Embedded forms are chosen one by one when you embed them, so you can put different forms on different pages.

Check it's working ​

When a customer submits either kind of form, it arrives as a booking request. You'll see the count go up on Requests in the sidebar. See Manage booking requests.
