How booking works
Booking forms let customers ask you for work whenever it suits them, not just during business hours. Here's how a request reaches you and what happens next.
A booking form lets a customer request work from you online — they fill in a short form on the web, and it lands in HiTradies as a booking request for you to follow up. It's a way to capture new work without playing phone tag.
The flow is:
- Create a booking form once, and choose what it asks for.
- Share it — as a link, or embedded on your own website.
- A customer fills it in — see what they see — and it arrives as a booking request.
- Review the request and turn it into a quote (or save the person as a client), then carry on with your usual quote → job → invoice flow.
Booking lives in two places in HiTradies:
- You build and manage your forms under Settings → Booking Forms.
- Requests come into Requests in the sidebar (Booking Requests), which shows a count when something new arrives.
