Accepting an invitation

This page is for you if someone's invited you to join their team on HiTradies, not for the person doing the inviting — if that's you, see Invite a team member instead.

You'll have an email with a link in it.

1. Open the link from your invitation email. You don't need an account or a password to open it — the page just opens.
2. Check the details on the page:
   • the business inviting you
   • who invited you
   • the role you're being offered
3. Select Sign Up to Accept.
4. Set up your account — you'll choose your own password, which nobody else sees, not even the person who invited you.

Once you're done you're part of their team, and you'll see the jobs and visits assigned to you.

If the link doesn't work

Invitations don't last forever. If yours has expired, ask whoever invited you to send a new one.

If the link opens but something doesn't look right — the wrong business, or a role you weren't expecting — check with the person who invited you before you sign up.

What happens next

What you can see in HiTradies depends on the role you were given. Most people join as a team member, which means you can get on with the work assigned to you. If you need to get at something you can't see, ask the business owner — they can adjust your access. See Team members for what each role covers.
